A shop and local favorite, the Amundson shapes by Aquaglide are great intermediate to advanced stand up paddle boards. Both sizes come with a standard soft-top covering and paddle-guard rails so they are both durable and there\'s no need to shell out extra for a pad. Though both will work great in both flat water or waves, the 11\'3\" is better as an all-around board for beginners or intermediates, while the 11\'0\" is a sportier more surf-oriented board for intermediates and up. The 11\'3\" is a good beginner board for most paddlers in flat water, it is a fast turner in the waves, a really good all-around board. It is made of Duratec construction for extra durability. The 11\'0\" is slightly thinner with a bit more rocker and thinner rails, which makes for an extremely fast turning, surfy board. Add to that the lighter, sportier build of the epoxy sandwich Superlight construction and you\'ve got an incredible wave riding machine.
