Traction Pads

Traction pads are what keep you on a strapless board, and they wear out faster than most people expect. We carry front pads, tail pads and full deck sets from Duotone in a range of thicknesses.

Pad thickness is largely personal preference. Thinner pads around 3mm give you more feel for the board underfoot, while thicker 4mm and 5mm pads add cushioning for hard landings. A kicked tail pad gives your back foot something to brace against during turns and pop.

Clean the deck thoroughly before applying, and give the adhesive a full day before riding. Pads fit directional surfboards and foilboards alike.
