Kites

Choosing a kite comes down to three things: the wind you ride in, your weight, and the style of riding you are after. We stock the full range from Duotone, North and Slingshot, covering everything from first-kite freeride models to competition big air and wave-specific designs.

Most riders end up with a two or three kite quiver. A mid-size kite in the 9m to 10m range covers the widest band of conditions, with a smaller 7m to 8m for stronger days and a 12m or larger for light wind. If you are building your first quiver, start with the middle size and add from there once you know your local conditions.
