Leashes

Small pieces of gear that matter a great deal when things go wrong. This section covers kite safety leashes, board leashes for strapless riding and coiled foil leashes for wing foiling, from Mystic, ION and Duotone.

Your kite safety leash is part of your safety system and should be replaced at the first sign of wear on the webbing or the quick release. Board leashes for strapless riding are a matter of local etiquette as much as preference, since a loose board on a crowded beach is a hazard.

Wing foilers generally run both a wing wrist leash and a board leash. Losing either one downwind of your gear is a long swim.
