Kite Vests

Vests built specifically for kiteboarding, which means they are cut to work with a harness rather than fight it. We carry Mystic and ION in front-zip and side-zip styles.

Kite vests sit shorter than wakeboard vests so the bottom hem clears your harness, and the foam is distributed to protect your ribs and lower back where kite impacts tend to land. Some models add flotation, which is worth considering if you ride offshore or in deep water, though most riders prioritise mobility.

Fit matters: too loose and the vest rides up over your face when you hit the water hard. See also general impact vests and helmets.
